Breadcrumb markup
Why it matters
Breadcrumbs show visitors and search engines where a page sits in your site. With BreadcrumbList structured data, Google can show the path instead of the raw URL in results.
How to fix it
- Add visible breadcrumb navigation to deeper pages.
- Mark it up with BreadcrumbList JSON-LD listing each level with its name and URL.
Check it with
- Schema Markup Generator – Create JSON-LD structured data for articles, FAQs, products, businesses, events and more.
- Structured Data Validator – Extract and check JSON-LD and microdata schema on a page, or paste code to test.
Scoring: a passed check earns its full weight, a warning half and an error none. How the SEO score works
