Bulk HTTP Status Checker
Check the status code, redirects and response time of up to 25 URLs at once.
About the Bulk HTTP Status Checker
Every web request returns an HTTP status code: 200 means OK, 301/302 mean the URL redirects, 404 means not found, 410 means gone and 5xx codes mean the server failed. Search engines only index pages that return 200, and they slowly drop URLs that keep returning errors.
Paste a list of URLs – after a migration, from a backlink report or from your sitemap – to see each status code, where redirects end up and how fast each URL responds. Results can be exported to CSV.
Frequently asked questions
What does a soft 404 mean?
A page that says “not found” but returns status 200. Search engines may treat it as an error page anyway. Missing pages should return a real 404 or 410.
Is 404 bad for SEO?
Not on its own – removed pages should return 404. The problem is internal links and backlinks pointing to 404s; fix or redirect those.
Why does a URL show 403?
The server refused the request, often because a firewall blocks automated checkers. The page may still work in a browser.
