Page Speed Test
Lighthouse performance score, lab metrics and real-user Core Web Vitals for any page.
About the Page Speed Test
Page speed affects everything: visitors leave slow pages, conversions drop and Google uses page experience signals, including Core Web Vitals, in ranking. This test runs Google Lighthouse through the PageSpeed Insights API, so you get the same lab score and metrics developers see in Chrome, on a simulated mid-range phone or a desktop.
You also get real-user data from the Chrome UX Report when the page has enough traffic – the 75th-percentile LCP, INP and CLS that Google actually uses – plus the top opportunities ranked by estimated time saved. Lab scores vary a little between runs; focus on the metrics and opportunities rather than the exact number.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good PageSpeed score?
90–100 is good, 50–89 needs improvement and below 50 is poor. Real-user Core Web Vitals matter more for rankings than the lab score itself.
Why is my mobile score lower than desktop?
The mobile test simulates a mid-range phone on a slower network with a throttled CPU, which exposes heavy JavaScript and large images much more than a fast desktop does.
Why does my score change each time?
Network conditions, server load, ads and third-party scripts vary between runs. Run the test a few times and look at the trend.
