Schema Markup Generator
Create JSON-LD structured data for articles, FAQs, products, businesses, events and more.
About the Schema Markup Generator
Structured data describes your content in a language search engines and AI systems understand precisely. Written as JSON-LD – a single script block in the page – it can make pages eligible for rich results such as product prices and ratings, event dates, breadcrumbs and business details, and it helps AI assistants identify your brand, products and authors as entities.
Choose a type, fill in the fields and copy the generated code into the <head> or <body> of the page. Only include information that is visible on the page; marking up content users cannot see goes against Google’s guidelines. Test the result with our Structured Data Validator.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I paste the JSON-LD?
Anywhere in the HTML of the page, usually in the <head>. Many CMSs and SEO plugins also have a field for custom schema.
Can I use several schema types on one page?
Yes. A product page might have Product, BreadcrumbList and Organization. Use separate script blocks or a single @graph array.
Will FAQ markup give me FAQ rich results?
Since 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results mainly for well-known government and health sites. FAQ markup is still valid and helps machines understand the Q&A content.
