On-page SEO
Meta description
Why it matters
The meta description is often used as the snippet under your title in search results. It does not affect rankings directly, but a clear description earns more clicks.
How to fix it
- Write a unique 120–160 character summary for each important page.
- Describe what the visitor gets and include the main topic naturally.
- Do not repeat the same description on many pages.
Check it with
- Meta Tags Analyzer – Check the title, description, robots, canonical and every other meta tag on a page.
- SERP Snippet Preview – Preview your title and description in Google on desktop and mobile, with pixel widths.
