HTTP/2

Why it matters

HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 load many files over one connection, which is noticeably faster than HTTP/1.1 for modern pages.

How to fix it

1. Enable HTTP/2 (and HTTP/3 if available) on your server or CDN. Most hosts support it with HTTPS.

Check it with

• HTTP/2 & HTTP/3 Checker – Check whether a server supports HTTP/2 and advertises HTTP/3.

Scoring: a passed check earns its full weight, a warning half and an error none. How the SEO score works
