On-page SEO
Title tag
Why it matters
The title tag is the main headline of your page in search results and in browser tabs. A missing, duplicate or vague title makes it harder for search engines to understand the page and for people to choose it.
How to fix it
- Give every page a unique title of roughly 30–60 characters.
- Put the main topic first and your brand last, e.g. “Running Shoes for Women | Brand”.
- Avoid stuffing keywords – write a title a person would click.
Check it with
- Meta Tags Analyzer – Check the title, description, robots, canonical and every other meta tag on a page.
- SERP Snippet Preview – Preview your title and description in Google on desktop and mobile, with pixel widths.
